In-person Individual Industry Placements provide you with the opportunity to upskill by undertaking a range of activities within industry with a placement employer that you have identified. This could include observing or engaging in the day-to-day activities of that workplace, contributing to tasks or projects, or learning more about a specific aspect of the industry.
As a T Level provider, your education establishment will receive £200 remission funding for each half day placement (3+ hours) or £400 remission funding for each full day placement (6+ hours).

Group Industry Placements are organised by the 51¸£ÀûÉç and will provide you with the opportunity to meet with and hear from industry professionals. Joining FE colleagues across the country, these virtual or in-person events are designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of T Level subjects and how they are applied in industry by working professionals.
Events can cover a wide range of topics, for example: current and future trends, new and emerging technologies, existing practices in the day-to-day life of industry professionals, plus career pathways and progression opportunities for T Level learners.
As a T Level provider, your education establishment will receive £200 remission funding for each half day placement (3+ hours) or £400 remission funding for each full day placement (6+ hours).

There is also the opportunity for you to attend a Provider Organised Group Industry Placement for yourself and your colleagues with an employer that you have identified. Please ask your line manager to apply using the application form on the .
Industry Workshops are T Level route-specific online events.
They are 60 to 90 minutes long. They are designed to build your industry knowledge and support your T Level delivery. You will hear sector specific updates and learn more about current and emerging technologies and existing industry practice.

This course is designed to support education providers as they work with employers to support T Level implementation. It explores why partnership working is so important for meeting skills needs and preparing T Level learners for future careers. Through a series of case studies, it considers where to start when building these partnerships and some areas of teaching, learning and assessment that can really benefit from a ‘two-way street’. Complete this course at your own pace via the online learning platform (4 guided learning hours).
This course is designed to support teachers who are delivering – or preparing to deliver – T Levels. It explores how to support your learners’ educational and career aspirations through ‘meaningful’ industry placements and effective careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) that give them a clear ‘line of sight to work’. You’ll zoom in on some of the challenges and considerations involved in arranging placements. Complete this course at your own pace via the online learning platform (3 guided learning hours).
This course considers the challenge of maintaining industry currency for T Levels via the concept of ‘dual professionalism’. You’ll explore what dual professionalism is, why it’s important and what it involves in practice. You’ll also look at some tips for updating your industry-specific knowledge and skills, including Industry Insights placements and Communities of Practice (CoPs). Complete this course at your own pace via the online learning platform (2 guided learning hours).
